Opting for a replacement CHRA (Centre Housing & Rotating Assembly) delivers substantial savings over fitting a complete new turbocharger without compromising performance. Each Melett CHRA is assembled in the UK by our team of skilled mechanical engineers, using only genuine Melett parts and subjected to vibration stress relief (VSR) balancing. VSR is a post‑manufacturing process where the component is vibrated at its resonant frequency to relieve residual stresses and stabilise dimensions in castings, forgings and fabrications. By replacing only the CHRA, you minimise parts and labour costs while restoring your Land Rover or Range Rover’s turbo system to reliable operation.
